Kaitlin is from Gray, Georgia and graduated magna cum laude from Mercer University (B.A. 12). She then attended Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law (J.D. 15, cum laude). While in law school, Kaitlin received the Custer-Tuggle Award for excellence in the practice of domestic relations, as well as a CALI Award for Academic Excellence in her Family Law Course. She was also a student member of the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court.
Before coming to Cansino, Petty, & Stribling, LLP as an associate, Kaitlin worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Macon Judicial Circuit, juvenile division. Kaitlin's practice focuses primarily in the areas of divorce, child custody, and juvenile law. She is currently a member of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.
